OMG! OMG! OMG!!!! After reading Full Tilt my heart was broken so I have been waiting so patiently for All In and let me say THANK YOU to Emma Scott for an epic conclusion to Kacey and Theo’s journey. This book is my MOST anticipated read this Fall and I don’t have enough words to convey to you how great this story is. It’s a rarity that all the elements blended together perfectly – the author magnificent writing, the brilliant cast of characters, the unique plot … everything about this book is PERFECTION to me. Hands down – the Best work of Emma Scott!

I started reading this book on a plane – BIG MISTAKE! I was bawling my eyes out and I am sure people around were probably wondering “is it that sad to leave Hawaii?”. But that’s just the beginning few chapters, my tears continue to fall throughout the books sad and happy tears. Damn! Emma is known for writing tears jerker stories, I know it and I was prepared for it, but not enough. She totally slayed me with this one. But I promise you this book will be so worth your time and a whopping $2.99 when it comes out in a few days.

If you read Full Tilt, you know at the end of the book that Jonah died of heart failure. He left behind many broken hearts but mainly Kacey and his brother Theo. Before Johan passed, he asked Kacey and Theo to each promise him a favor – they agree but to carry out such promise is proven nearly impossible. The months that follows Jonah death, Kacey griefs became too unbearable and she skipped town without a trace. Theo is dealing with the pain the best he can, trying moving on with his life. But one phone drastically changed both of their life forever.

“We should all be as lucky to find someone who is the other half of ourselves.”

God! I already like Theo in Full Tilt but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Theo hard in this book – my “Hanged Man”. At time, I hurt for him – the rejection of his father, to always feels like a second best in all things. But Theo is anything but a constellation price. He is strong, brave, sexy, talented, humble. Most of all I adore his devotion and his gentle soul. The way, he takes care of Kacey and the people around him just melt my heart – that alone make him a remarkable person, a wonderful hero. Kacey – gosh you can’t blame her. Too loose the love of your life, the person that saved you in so many ways is unfathomable. I don’t blame her for disappearing. She spiraled out of control and she is losing herself. But Kacey is a fighter. How she was saved is an extraordinary story of friendship and unconditional love you don’t want to miss.

“You will heal and your will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same.”

I love the relationship development between Kacey and Theo. They have unusual circumstances, bound together by shared grief of losing their loved ones. They understand each other’s pain and heartache. They were best friends first and their love develops over time. That makes their love honest, real, and breathtakingly beautiful. The struggles they have to overcome to be together is heart-breaking. I cried a lot throughout the book but there are so many lighthearted, tender moments as well. The angst, the anticipation, and the buildup is so good I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Then there is the late night flirting, the phone kiss, the dancing (if that’s what you want to call it, wink wink), the steamy love scenes – all is blistering hot! It was seriously so worth it to wait (with anticipation) and to have their love finally explode. GAH!!!! Beyond HOT!!!!

So, the writing? One word – flawless.

Personally, I think All In is more than a love story. It’s also about friendship, family – sometimes not the best, but you cannot choose your family nor whom you love. Emma tells an extraordinary story of love, loss, friendship, healing, hope and love again. The epilogue is EPIC. I am overjoyed and my heart is beyond happy. This is a Masterpiece! One I will never forget!
