Wow! What a gorgeous love story. Normally, I am not into Rockstar romance that much but there is so much more to this story thanks to a certain 6 y.o boy … that cutie nugget just had me at Hello. I have to say I get the plot twist and the storyline pretty early on in the book. Vince grew up in a sh*t house hold – mom left Vince with a deadbeat of a dad who was abusive and constantly put him down. Vince was in love with Bristol but he had no choice but to leave her behind to make something of himself. Even with all the success and the years gone by Vince never felt he was good enough for Bristol. Bristol was broken heart when Vince left without a trace. During the 14 years apart they saw each other once but it was short lived and Vince walked away again. Bristol was left picking up the pieces just like when she was a teenager. Bristol had to put her dream a hold. When Vince signed with a new management company Bristol works at they were force to work with each other. Emotion and sexual tension run high but they can no longer use physical contact to solve their problems. Vince and Bristol are both hiding secrets but there is so much at steak now. Vince and Bristol will have to dig deep, fight past demons, forgive each other in order to find happy ever after that they both deserved. I actually read this book in one day. I dig the angsts and there are tons … I mean 14 years pent up emotions. The chemistry is of the chart but there is also something familiar and sweet whenever they are together. This story also got all the feels – I swoon hard over Vince and little Vinny, so adorable the way they interact. I was sad and my heart break for Vince and Bristol and their circumstances. They did not make the greatest decisions but I understood the whys. The steamy scenes are plentiful so no complaint there 🙂 Don’t get me started on the love songs – my heart was in a puddle. My favorite part of the book was the threesome (not that kind :)) in Washington – beautiful bonding, peace, and stunning scenery. Love the epilogue – didn’t want it to end … I could read a little more about their future. Over all a beautiful, emotional, touching second chance love story.
