Whoa! This was very different plot than I’ve seen in the past. Carly is a makeup artist in California. Carly’s fiancé Brad passed away two years prior, followed by his father’s death. They left behind a brother who has special needs with no family to take care of him. Carly uprooted her life and moved to New Hampshire to look after her fiancé’s brother until they find him a decent group home. What Carly did not expect was to face Brad best-friend Josh, her enemy, who also at the house claiming to take care of Brad. Now the two are stuck together at a small cabin with one bedroom short. They hated each other but the longer Carly spend with Josh the more she grows feelings for him. Josh isn’t’ the man she made him up to be. They don’t want to cross the line but it hard to ignore the attraction forever. As expected, this was a forbidden romance with heaps of slow burn and sexual tension due to the close proximity. Great chemistry and awesome banters between these two. A lot of heartwarming moments as well. Over all, this story has all the feels – emotional and beautiful enemy-to-lover romance.
