Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover – 6 STARS !!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I read this book a while ago and it was my first Collen Hoover book. I just fell in love with this story…swoon. This book made me a huge Colleen Hoover fan. She is one of my favorite authors.

At twenty-two years old, Sydney is enjoying a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers that Hunter is cheating on her—and she’s forced to decide what her next move should be.

Soon, Sydney finds herself captivated by her mysterious and attractive neighbor, Ridge. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the passionate way he plays his guitar every evening out on his balcony. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either. They soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one.

Collen has this easy writing style that just draws you in. The story is flawless. The friendship and bond that develops between Ridge and Sydney is beautiful and they are both truly great people. Colleen develops their love in such a beautiful way that makes the reader crave for them to be together. I usually do not like books with cheating and while technically Ridge did not cheat, he cheated emotionally. I felt a little guilty about wanting Sydney and Ridge to get together because Ridge’s girlfriend was such as great character too, but it was clear their love was more platonic. The love between Ridge and Sydney was the forever type of love. I fell in love with Ridge; everything about him was beautiful including the fact he was deaf. He is the best book boyfriend ever!! Maybe Someday is truly an artwork in itself. The story is embedded with original songs written for the book which all readers can listen to. This story even made me want to learn sign language. It was just inspirational. I encourage everyone to read this wonderful story.
