What is this book about? Below is a perfect GR description of this beautiful story… I can not summarize it any better….

“June Mayson and Evan Barrister’s whirlwind courtship resulted in a secret marriage right before he left for boot camp. Evan knows deep in his gut that June is too good for him, but after getting a taste of the beautiful life they can have together, he’s unwilling to let her go. June promises to wait for him, knowing neither time or distance will ever change her feelings for Evan—that is until she’s served with divorce papers while he’s overseas and she’s forced to let him go.

Her marriage and divorce a well-kept secret, the last person June expects to run into when she moves back to her hometown is Evan. Angry over the past, she does everything within her power to ignore the pull she feels whenever he is near. But how can she ignore the pain she sees every time their eyes meet? How can she fight the need to soothe him even if she knows she’s liable to get hurt once again?

Is it possible for June and Evan to find their way back to each other again? Or will they be stopped by an outside force before they ever have a shot?”

*** This is the first book I’ve read of author Aurora and I am loving it. Lately, I have been very fortunate to find new wonderful and talented authors. I devoured this baby in no time. I love the hero – he is a total alpha military man (my kind of man ), sexy, protective, swoon-worthy. He is also flawed and made the mistake of letting the love of his life go. It breaks my heart to know the reason he did it was because he does not feel worthy or deserving of June. Deep down the love June and Evan have for each other runs deep. Evan could not move on even if he tried so when he comes home he decides to do whatever it takes to get her back. The groveling begins. The bad part is June is not the only one he has to contend with, he has to win over her entire family too.

Likewise, I also adore June. The heroine is strong, a spitfire at times but hurt previously so she is vulnerable. After Evan broke her heart, she tried to move on with her life but ended up in big trouble with her criminal ex boyfriend. That unfortunate turn of events sort of brought Evan and June back to together, rebooting the whirlwind relationship again. June cannot deny the physical attraction she has for her ex-husband but this time around June is hesitant to give her whole heart away.

Until June was a gorgeous romance. I thought the getting together part was a bit rushed but they were man and wife once so it is natural they just picked up where they left off. And I love second chance romance with a HEA so that’s all good. The author did an awesome job with the chemistry between June and Evan – from panty dropping hot and sexy to sweet and tender – everything I wanted in the main characters. Over all, Until June was an awesome and easy read. The storyline is beautiful, sexy, fun, a little bit angsty with a touch of drama. I thought the story flows nicely from beginning to end. I would definitely read more stories from this author.

Thank you for an ARC in exchange for honest review.
