My rating: 4.5 STARS

Whoa! I just finished the most dreamy, sexy, fun destination romantic story. R.S Grey has wiggled her way into my heart with her beautiful words and stories. My weakness is destination romance and Italy is one of my favorite countries so this book was right up my alley.
Georgie is fed up with her mother’s persistent attempts at match-making and marrying her off. What is a girl to do? Well, Georgie takes off to Vernazza, a small picturesque seaside village, determined to find herself a husband. What Georgie did not expect was to meet the gorgeous brooding Gianluca so soon. Gianluca is a mysterious, not so friendly tourist. He has a painful past and a giant chip on his shoulder that he can’t shake. It did not take long for Georgie to find out the reason for Gianluca’s heart break and she is determined to bring him out of his shell. I think Georgie means well but the part where she laid into him about how he should get over it because it has been 5 years was a little insensitive. I think people grieve differently and there is really no time frame. But I like Georgie and that is Georgie’s personality – she is funny, quirky, caring, and honest. She is feisty and not afraid to speak her mind. The relationship between Georgie and Gianluca is a perfect case of opposite’s attract. Gianluca has no time or place for romance or friendship especially the tourist who would not stop with her million questions. Georgie’s forward personality gets under Gianluca’s skin at first but she eventually grows on him. Slowly, but surely she makes her way into fixing his villa  and his heart. Their romance is not all smooth sailing – it does have scorching hot and explosive moments with plenty of sexiness and passion. Gianluca has his reasons to be so closed off at first but as the story evolves he turns out to be a swoony hero with a big heart, kind, loyal, and loving who I adore.
The author did an awesome job with the witty banters between characters. I also love the narrative and everything in between. I find myself getting lost imagining the beautiful scenery, the buildings, the people and the life of this spirited picturesque city.
This is a sweet friend to lover romantic comedy. It’s sexy, fun, and light hearted and leaves you with a tingling warm feeling in your heart long after the last page. The epilogue made me a bit teary eyed and gave me goose bumps. What a perfect ending!
