Review: Out of Bounds by Lauren Blakely

Out of BoundsOut of Bounds by Lauren Blakely

My rating: 4.5 Stars

I LOVE EVERYTHING Lauren Blakely so this is a no brainer. I was actually looking forward to this book because sport romance is one of my favorite genres. Of course, Lauren Blakely does not disappoint. Out of bounds was fun, lighthearted, steamy and sexy.

Drew and Dani actually met at the beach. Dani was enjoying a beautiful view of the ocean and gawking at Drew on the surf board. One surfboard accident and a big egg bump later, Dani won himself a date and a good night kiss from the sexy Dani. Well, after that night he was hooked. Drew is a famous football star and he should be focusing on his career but he can’t deny the attraction he has for Dani. Problem is, Dani happens to be lawyer who’s team Drew has just been traded to right after their first rendezvous. Should they be mixing business and pleasure?

I adore both main characters. Drew is handsome, talented, charming, funny, sexy, and an All-American nice guy. Dani is smart, strong, sweet and the fact that she is a badass lawyer made her super sexy. The chemistry they have for each other is undeniable. Dani was trying to stay professional but eventually Drew wiggle his way into her heart. I really enjoyed the flirty dance, the sass, and the witty banters they throw at each other. The texts and the phone calls were cute. Over all, Out of Bounds was a quick easy read but not short of humor, passionate romance, sizzling chemistry, and heart-warming love.

Fun, sweet, romantic. Highly recommended.
