Another winner by Lauren Blakely for me.  Unzipped is a standalone friend-to-lover romance.  Sweet, hilarious and utterly romantic.  I like how Tom and Finley met – Tom was trying desperately to win back his college girlfriend but when he showed up at her apartment ready for a grand gesture, someone else answered the door.  Tom and Finley hit it off as friends and she volunteered to help him win back the love of his life.  The more time they spend together Tom started to fall for his romance coach and the only heart he wants to win is Finley’s. The problem is Finley thinks he is in love with someone else. Yikes!

I love the easy friendship and romance between Tom and Finley – super cute, lighthearted, none-drama.  Love the characters – Finley is honest, fun, independent.  Tom is super sweet, nerdy who needs a little help in women department 😉 I like Tom and Finley’s adorable, flirty banters and slow burn romance.  The sexual innuendos are super hilarious making me laugh out loud at times.   I also like that their relationship is honest – Finley has been hurt in the past and she doesn’t want to be anyone’s rebound.  Tom wears his heart on his sleeve – quirky, clueless and totally adorable.  He is a commitment kind of guy and isn’t afraid to own it.  Who doesn’t want a guy like that though right? 😊     Over all Unzipped is an absolute feel good, charming, entertaining romcom!
