Okay, gotta give to Kendall Ryan. This love story is definitely unconventionally different. Ryleigh works at a topless bar, barely scrapping by in a tiny apartment in a sh*ty part of town. As if her life isn’t complicated enough, Ryleigh’s unreliable roommate comes and goes as she please without paying rent. The last time she took off she left Ryleigh a big present – her newborn baby girl. That same faithful night, she met Alexei who stepped in to help Ryleigh and baby Elle. Ryleigh is clueless in baby department but the new hero in her life isn’t. Alexei has plenty of experiences with six nieces and nephews and a hero complex Ryleigh need not to worried. How long are they going to pretend to play house before real feelings got in the way? Alexei just signed a contract with the Chicago Hawks. He was told to lay low and stay out of headlines. This hero isn’t going to leave a woman struggles on her own though – he is overprotective, bossy, and has too big of a heart. This romance is too adorable. I like Ryleigh, she might be poor but not a gold digger. She is fiercely independent. Alexei has it all – fame, money, success but deep down he is a down to earth, generous, sweet, beautiful man. Will Ryleigh get her happy ending or is everything just too good to be true? Finding Alexei is such a sweet, emotional, heart-warming love story. The ending makes me smile – all feels and swoons. Beautifully written and pretty amazing read!
