Review Blast – LETTERS TO MOLLY by Devney Perry is available now.

Molly Alcott didn’t expect
to open her mailbox one summer morning and find an old letter stuffed between
bills and a supermarket flyer. Penned in familiar handwriting, dated over
fifteen years ago, the letter was written to Molly after her first date with the
man she’ll never forget.

Week after week, new letters appear. Each marks an event in
the history of their epic love affair. Each heals a wound. Each holds the
confession of the man who still owns Molly’s heart.

The letters are full of promise, hope and love, but truth be
told, Molly wishes she could unread them all.

Because the man who wrote these letters is not the one
sending them.

HOLY Bejesus! This book SLAYED! This book is about a divorce couple having second chance at love. I sort of knew going in that it is going to be a tough one. There is just something about a couple divorce that really hurt my heart. Thank God that did not happen to me personally but I get really emotional when it comes to two people who married dissolved. Molly and Finn met in college through Finn’s sister Poppy who also happened to be Molly’s best friend. The two hit it off right way and after a short world wind romance they were married. Pass forward, Molly and Finn are divorced and co-parents to two beautiful sweet children. They tried to be cordial and polite for the sake of their kids. One night, when Finn came over for pizza and a movie … they woke up the next day naked in Molly’s bed slightly hung over. Things about to get complicated. Molly and Finn could not quit each and they continued having sex … is it loneliness? Is it just a romp in the hay to satisfy their physical needs or is it so much more? One day, Molly opened her mailbox and find an old letter written by Finn 15 years back. It was written after their first date… The big mystery is who sent it and why? The letters kept on coming – there are happy ones and there are just devastating ones. In order to forgive each other and forgive themselves Molly and Finn are forced to face their past, the truths, lies, mistakes, regrets, no matter how much it breaks them both.

Oh man! This book is beyond heart wrenching and emotional. I love everything about their journey from the beginning until the end. The fun and flirty young love. The struggles and hurdles they had to overcome. I ugly cried so much and my heart ache for them both. In the end, the wooing and the swoony romance – nothing but happy tears. This book is PHENOMENAL – a beautiful story of love, loss, redemption, hope, marriage, family, friendship, and second chance. AMAZING and UTTELY ROMANTIC!
