REVIEW

This is book 2 of the Dirty Wild series. In Wild Rebel, we were introduced to Cade and Jolie. These two were childhood lovers but something happened and Jolie never showed up to meet up with Cade. They both moved on, but then out of the blue Jolie came back to ask Cade to help with a secret project. Cade was not ready to take a trip to memory lane. He has a lot of resentment and anger toward Jolie. This second book Wild War bought us back to their hometown where there were so much love, heartache and regrets shared between Cade and young Juliana (Jolie). This story is told mostly in the past. It’s gut wrenching, suspenseful and full of secrets. There is evil lives among us, and the horror that Juliana and Cade went through is just awful and tragic. The writing is excellent and the story continue to captivate my attention from beginning until the end. If you thought the cliffhanger in book 1 bad, this second one is just pure cruelty 🙂
I am ready for WILD HEART – I need some answers, closures, and the despicable piece of trash need to be punish!

Blurb:

As soon as I saw him, it was war.

I thought at first it would be between me and him.

Cade was cold and hard and didn’t want anything to do with the headmaster’s daughter. I was off-limits.

He didn’t need that kind of trouble.

I didn’t need that kind of trouble, either. And since I did my best to avoid any kind of trouble, that should have been the end of it.

But when I saw him, he also saw me.

All of me.

The lonely parts. The dark parts.

The secret parts.

He became my ally.

I lost the battle with myself and fell in love despite the risk.

But the war isn’t over for either of us.

Not as long as my father is alive.

Book two of three in the final trilogy in the Dirty Universe.

About the Author:

With millions of books sold worldwide, Laurelin Paige is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestselling Author. She is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however.

When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Killing Eve or Letterkenny, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender. She’s also a proud member of Mensa International though she doesn’t do anything with the organization except use it as material for her bio.

She is represented by Rebecca Friedman.
