A chance for Us is the final book in the Willow Creek Valley series and it was quite a nice surprise. Maren and Oliver’s love story was a heartwarming and enjoyable read. Maren’s father was dying and his last wish was to see his daughter walking down the aisle with the man of her dream. Unfortunately the man of her dream was a douche bag. Maren was left with no future husband. She turned to her college friend’s Oliver and convinced him to marry her. Maren is confident she can pull it off but what happened when Maren falls for her fake husband in the process? Nothing built on lies can last, right? You have to read and see … Fake marriage genre is not the first I ever read but there is something cute and unique about his one. The chemistry and sparks are undeniable from the start. I enjoy the how these two characters grow together from friends to lovers… and adding an emotional surprise to the mix which will pull at your heartstrings. What a roller coaster that was. In the end love prevailed and they came out the other side stronger as a couple and of course they live HAE. The author sure put us through wave of emotions – all at the feels and it was so worth it. This book was everything – heart-warming, tear-filled, fun, charming, romantic. A fantastic and bittersweet ending to the series.
