Coach by Devney Perry is LIVE

Football star. Single dad. And once, a long time ago, mine.

Coach by Devney Perry is now live!

I’ve spent the better part of a decade forgetting Ford Ellis. If he had just stayed away from Montana, I might have erased the memory of his striking blue eyes and rugged smile forever. Avoiding him was easy when the only place I saw his face was on ESPN—and a remote control could fix that problem.

Except my boss just hired Ford as the new head coach for the Treasure State Wildcats. Not only will I be stuck watching him on the sidelines this season, but avoiding him will be impossible now that we’re working together.

Maybe I haven’t forgotten Ford. Maybe I still dream about what we might have been. Maybe he hasn’t forgotten me either.

Except those maybes won’t change the fact that we were never meant to be. Maybe he was mine once. But as of today, the only thing I’ll be calling Ford Ellis is Coach.

REVIEW

5 “go big blue” stars!!!
OMG!!! I LOVE this book so much. DP must write more sport romance. Pretty please!!! Angst galore and so much pent up sexual tension between these two. Ford and Millie were college best friends. They secretly had a crush on each other but neither wanted to cross the line…until one did :0 Then an event happened – Ford bolted and never really spoke with Millie again. Ten years later, Ford came back to the same college to be the football team head coach, without knowing Millie is working in the very same department as an assistant AD. Ford was shock but he quickly realized this is kismet, a perfect chance for him to mend past mistake, and finally be with the woman he always loved. Millie has no interest in getting her heart crush again – the most she wants out of Ford was an overdue closure.
Oh boy! I just love’s Ford’s determination. Ford knows exactly what/who he wants and will not take no for answer. He was all alpha and demanding as hell 🙂 LOVE IT!!! Millie did not stand a chance in hell avoiding Ford this time 😊 The banters, angst, sexual tension was of the chart. So much chemistry but so much sweetness between Millie and Ford as well. Individually, Ford is such a caring and protective guy – he made a hard decision for the welfare of his girl. Can’t blame the man for that. Millie understood Ford’s reasons, but that does not make her hurts any less. Despite all that, Millie has a forgiving heart. She just needs a little time to heal in order to open her heart to the possibility of love again. I adore Ford and Millie together – they are truly soulmates. Really awesome chemistry and sizzling hot scenes 🙂
The ending and the epilogue were just PERFECTION. Everything wrapped up nicely but I can see DP left a little room for possibly future couples? (I sure pray hard).
If you love slow burn, sport, second chance, heartfelt romance with sweet relatable heroine, and softy single dad with the cutest little girl – this one is for you!
