#4.5 Tatted Stars

#I love this book

Verity Michaels is new to New York City and trying to make something of herself while she works for her crazy perverted boss. One night after working late, she ends up sharing a cab with Hudson Fenn. Hudson is a gorgeous sexy stranger who also ends up stealing the cab!! A crazy journey begins as Verity can’t help but be intrigued by this tattoo-covered, felony like white knight. Can Verity overcome her preconceived notions about Hudson’s felony ways?

This was a fun ride. I’m full of laughter and smiles right now. This is the first time I have read a book complied by numerous authors and I am so impressed. Some authors are new and some are seasoned, but somehow they all make it blend seamlessly. Honestly if I didn’t know there were 13 authors, I would have had no idea.

Verity is a tough chick just trying to make it through NYC. I found her character so refreshing. I liked that she didn’t put up with a lot of bullshit from her boss or tried to sell her morals to make it in New York. She could have succumbed to her boss’s pervy ways but she was sassy and put up a good fight.

#EyesUpHere

She’s such a cute character and her twitter obsession made me smile. I’m not sure I’ve ever known anybody to be so twitter obsessed, but it totally landed her a tatted white knight. I can relate to Verity’s preconceived notions about Hudson. A hot tatted guy stealing a cab even if it is to get them home safely would raise some red flags for me. However, first impressions can be deceiving!! Okay…lessoned learned: Do not judge a book by its cover, especially when it comes in a swoon worthy package called Hudson Fenn

“Sometimes white knights have tattoos, princess.”

Hudson, Hudson, Hudson…he is too dreamy. I wish I could see his beautiful tatted body. He is sexy and sweet all rolled into one. He’s the ultimate good guy. Sometimes the good guys can be boring, but NOT Hudson! He is the perfect amount of sweet, good, fun, and deviant.

“You are the trickiest white knight in the business.”

“Hudson was so beautiful. She could see that now-so alive and fierce and vibrant.”

I liked that Verity and Hudson worked their problems out like reasonable adults. Sometimes silly miscommunications can frustrate me, but I found none of that with Hudson and Verity. Their love is a wonderful thing to experience. They complete each other.

“They were tooshie twins. Caboose compadres. Butt buddies, if you will. This was a tiny piece of him, matched perfectly to a tiny piece of her.”

“She loved this man. She loved every part of him-from his hard body and gorgeous face to his passion and intensity.”

In between Verity and Hudson’s blooming relationship is a lot craziness that just added a wonderful silly factor. Verity’s boss, Mr. Lay, is just ridiculous and extremely pervy, but he brings a level of craziness to the novel that had me smiling.

Overall, this book has no flaws. It is romance mixed with fun, silliness, and sexiness. One last note, this book has many talented writers, but I want to give a shout out to one of my favorite authors, Leisa Rayven. She writes a couple of chapters and I realized that during her chapters I was swooning hard over my beautiful Hudson. I always love her writing and this book is no exception. She brings some depth to Hudson and Verity and I loved it! Everyone needs to take a second to read this fast-paced novel. It’s super short, but it will bring a smile to your face. Happy reading!
