*** It does not promise an HEA or laughs. This is heart, heat, and will evoke feelings that are not always pleasant ***
Um… My opinion is the warning above should have been in bold print with flashing freaking neon lights. Damn!!!! I finished this story late at night, crying my eyes out and staying up tossing and turning. What the… I am totally wrecked and broken by the ending, the pain, and the truth…

This author is new to me and I think she is another gem in the ocean … thanks to author Kate Stewart’s recommendation. I have never read anything more unique than this book, not only the storyline but also the writing style and the message conveyed. Her writing is simply gorgeous, distinctively unique, thought provoking, and addicting.

Eva has been crushing on her childhood friend Luke since forever. When Eva finally worked up the courage and Luke was getting ready to leave for the military they decided to make a pact that changed their friendship forever. Once Eva graduated college she wanted to settle down and have a family but Luke had other ideas. God! I really dislike Luke – I know he has his reasons and some guys are just not meant for the white picket fence but my God! It was so hard to see now he treated Eva. I seriously just wanted to throat punch him.

Then Thomas came into the picture like a knight in a shining armor, scooping Eva off her feet and into the sunset. T is so adorable, kind, caring – a perfect swoony boyfriend who worships the ground she walks on. Eva is his goddess and no doubt T is the man she deserves. But life is a bitch is it not? TRAGIC! God, you want a book with all the feels? You have got it right here my friend. Be forewarned – there is no hearts and flowers or fairy tale. But here is the truth – despite life’s unfairness, tears and sorrow, this story showcased 27 heartbreakingly beautiful truths about love. Eva’s heart is shattered but she will learn, rise to the occasion and become a much stronger woman for it.

This story destroyed me but I recommend this to you. I am a selfish bitch so I don’t want to suffer alone 🙂
