WHOA!!!! The Bed Mate is a super cute friend-to-lover romance. For a novella, it was definitely packed with angst, passion, fun and sexy romance.

Sam and Maggie have been friends since college. They have always been there for each other through thick and thin. However, their friendship is strictly platonic as neither wants to take the next step, afraid of lose each other as a friend. Sam has just broken up with his girlfriend citing “irreconcilable differences” in the bedroom . Holidays is around the corner so Sam and his buddies are planning a ski trip to Colorado. Maggie did not want to join the gangs because she hates skiing and she also want to spend time with her boring boyfriend. Couple days before New Year, Maggie walked into said bastard in a compromising position – balls deep in his assistant. Once again, Sam came to the rescue – he flew Maggie to Colorado to spend the holidays with him. Sam has been in love with Maggie since college and for the first time she is single. Will Sam finally come clean and bare his soul to his best friend before he loses her again to another?

Geez! Sam and Maggie is so freaking adorable. I can’t believe Sam waited that long … all the years wasted when it could have been so much fun. But hey, that what makes the story so good with all the flirting and angsts leading to the delicious sexy scene and the cutest romance. The Bed Mate is an amazing read – short and sweet. Highly recommended!
