She’s fighting to save her heart from the Gypsy King.
I was a late bloomer of this author and I am addicted to her stories more and more every day. She really is unstoppable with any genre. Gypsy King is the first book of a new Tin Gypsy series. Dash is a former Tin Gypsy motorcycle club who locked their clubhouse doors, now living an honest life restoring car at his family club’s garage. Bryce a reporter/new co-owner of the small town’s newspaper. When a woman was brutally killed, all fingers pointed at the former Gypsy member – mainly the president Dash’s father. Dash and his gangs are claiming their president is innocent but Bryce isn’t convinced. She is determined to dig up past secrets and expose the club for what they really are, murderers.
Bryce’s biggest distraction is Dash. Dash did not like one bit how Bryce is sticking her nose in his business. He is rugged, handsome, intimidating but he was not ruthless as I was expecting. We got a slim of how dangerous he was in his previous life but mostly the gentler side of him. I like the heroine Bryce – she is independent, feisty, strong. She gives as good as she gets with Dash which make for some really awesome banters. The chemistry between these two are sizzling hot – lust at first sight angst, enemy to lover. This story is not so much about the motorcycle gangs but rather a murder mystery, and Dash and Bryce’s quest to reveal the lies, secrets, and bring justice to the real murderer. I feel the story is a bit slow at first but pick up nicely with actions and suspense the end. Gypsy King is MC, enemies-to-lovers, romantic suspense. Intense, sexy, twisty and thrilling plot. I am very curious about Dash’s friend and Amina’s daughter. Can’t wait for the next installment.
