The Bluff by Willa Nash is LIVE

The Bluff by Willa Nash is now live!

As Calamity’s newest resident, Everly Christian thought life in small-town Montana would be dull and tame–and she needs a little mundane after the last few chaotic years. But one night, boredom drives her to the local bar, where she finds herself sitting beside a handsome and mysterious artist. The man is anything but dull and tame, especially in the bedroom, and when she steps out of his shower and overhears his conversation, life gets interesting again. Reese Huxley needs a wife. And why shouldn’t Everly be the bride? She’s got her reasons for agreeing to the hasty nuptials–reasons she’s keeping to herself. As long as she can stop herself from falling in love with her husband, she’ll make it out of this sham marriage in one piece. But Everly has a weakness for wayward men, and the more Hux pushes her away, the more she realizes this bluff is anything but a lie.

Part of the Calamity Montana series, this one is about marriage of convenience. What a sweet small-town love story. Everly had her fun … maybe too much chaos in the last couple years she is ready to hang up her mic and live more of a quiet life. Everly found herself in small town Calamity. She has been sulking in her apartment way too long, but there is one thing that interested her – a handsome broody artist across the street. Hux is a single dad. He has been battling custody of his teenage daughter with the ex. Hux needs to show he has a stable life for his daughter. Hux and Everly, the two loners ended up spending one wild night together. Everly found out Hux needs a wife so she volunteered for the job šŸ™‚ Can relationship works when it starts out with a lie? Why, yes Hux and Everly made it work but not without many ups and downs. I like this fake marriage trope; however I find the drama with the ex and the employee was just a little extra. Hux and Everly are both wonderful characters. Hux – hardworking, a little rugged but caring and devote to his daughter. Quite a few times though I want to smack his head with a frying pan to wake him up šŸ™‚ Everly is selfless, sweet and kind. I enjoyed the chemistry and romance between Hux and Everly. I also love the small town feels. Overall, this was a beautiful, heartwarming, and feel-good love story. I want to see what else WN has in store next!!!
