Grayson’s Vow by Mia Sheridan – 6 Firing breath STARS !!! WHAT A GEM. LOVE LOVE !!!!

OMG! We really LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. Mia Sheridan does not disappoint. This is a modern fairytale love story set in Napa Valley. The story is about Kira and Grayson. The hero is Grayson who just got out of prison. Grayson is a vulnerable and insecure person due to the neglect and evil he suffers during his childhood. Then there is Kira, who also suffers emotionally due to a politically greedy and selfish father. Kira and Grayson meet and scheme to enter into a fake marriage for money. What starts out as a business transaction, turns into a beautiful love. Both have to learn to overcome their demons and let love fill their all the cracks and holes in their hearts.

First of all, I love the story line about how they marry for money, but then fall in love. I love the nicknames Kira and Grayson give each other, witch and dragon, respectively. How cute is that?? Kira was such a strong heroine and despite her evil dad she kept an open heart and an optimistic outlook. She was the rock that Grayson needed. I fell in love with Grayson too. It broke my heart to see what terrible parents he had and how much he craved his father’s approval. As a mother, it is hard to fathom there are such terrible parents out there. There were also wonderful side characters like Charlotte and Walter. I wish Grayson could have seen their love growing up. I did have an issue with Grayson’s brother, Shane. It really bothered me what Shane did to Grayson, but I understand the situation. Mia Sheridan made the situation as bearable as possible, but I still had a hard time forgiving his brother. As always, I love the epilogues that Mia Sheridan writes. They are full of happiness and an optimistic outlook for the future.

If you like reading a sweet story with a happy ending, then READ THIS BOOK!! You will fall in love with this story. This book is also set in Napa and boy does it make me want to take a trip down to wine country and relax with a nice glass of chardonnay.
